Oscar de la Hoya talked with TMZ Sports about the possibility of a second fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Canelo Álvarez which could be worth more than 1 billion dollars.

The defeat to Money Mayweather remains the only loss in Canelo's professional career, so the Mexican would love to take on the opportunity to revenge that.

The 42-year-old American boxer retired back in 2015 but have taken the ring twice since so theoretically a fight between Canelo and Mayweather could be later in the year.

The now promoter of Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez sent a message to Floyd in which he says "stop fighting fighters that are two weight divisions smaller than him."

De la Hoya is realistic about the possibility of a second fight Mayweather-Alvarez as he knows that a massive amount of money will be needed to set it, which is why he said it could be a $1.5 billion fight, because Canelo has improved and earned more experience since then and would pose a serious threat to 'Money' unbeaten record.
