Wembely Stadium, 1996. Scotland's Gary McAllister had just seen his penalty saved by David Seaman with the scores at 1-0 in favour of the hosts.

England were not playing particularly well and Scotland were pressing for an eqalizer when Gascoigne picked up the ball from Darren Anderton, flicked over the head of Colin Hendry and buried a glorious shot past Andy Goram.

Gascoigne celebrated in style, lying down and having water poured down his throat in reference to the infamous "dentist's chair" dirnking spree the England players had indulged in on a pre-tourmanent tour.
