Fifa announce three-goal shortlist for Puskás Award 2016

Marlone (Corinthians), Daniuska Rodríguez (Venezuela), and Mohd Faiz Subri (Penang) are the nominees for the 2016 prize.

Johnath Marlone, Corinthians' 24-year-old winger, has played for a number of Brazilian clubs including Vasco de Gama, Fluminense and Cruzeiro.

Daniuska Rodríguez is one of the great promises of women's football and tipped to be a huge star. The 17-year-old midfielder plays for  Academia Femenina de San Diego FC and Venezuela. .

Mohd Faiz Subri is a 29-year-old who can play as a winger or a striker and plies his trade for Penang FA in Malaysia.
