Los Emmy impulsan a ‘Succession’ y ‘The Bear’ como las series triunfadoras de 2023
Ante la situación de Hollywood, la gala de premios se ha retrasado hasta el final de las huelgas, de modo que los premios se han repartido meses después de lo habitual.
La gala de los Emmy ha tenido lugar con retraso. Las huelgas de guionistas y actores de Hollywood han obligado a la organización a modificar su calendario: de septiembre de 2023 a enero 2024, pero los galardones ya han repartido sus premios sin demasiadas sorpresas. Se esperaba que ‘Succession’ y ‘The Bear’ arrasaran, algo que se ha confirmado de manera oficial. La serie de HBO ha conseguido 6 estatuillas (tenía 27 nominaciones), entre los que se encuentra la victoria de Kieran Culkin, que interpreta a Roman Roy, uno de los herederos de la familia. También ganó Matthew Macfadyen, cuyo personaje está casado con otra contendiente a la sucesión. De hecho, Sarah Snook (Shiv Roy) se ha hecho asimismo con el ansiado galardón.
‘The Bear’ (FX, Hulu, Disney+) es el otro éxito de la gala de los Emmy. Mejor dirección y mejor comedia, dos de los premios gordos. Ayo Edibiri y Ebon Moss han obtenido el reconocimientos como mejores actores de reparto en comedia. Por su parte, Jeremy Allen White (Jeremy Allen White) ha hecho lo propio con el de mejor actor principal.
En la categoría de mejor serie dramática competían algunos de los éxitos más notables de 2023, como ‘La Casa del Dragón’, ‘The Last of Us’, ‘Andor’ o ‘The White Lotu’. Finalmente ha sido ‘Succession’ la que se ha impuesto.
