Iniesta: "It would be a bit weird seeing Neymar back at Barça"
The midfielder's days as a Culé are almost over and during an event this evening he was asked about Griezmann and the chance that Neymar might return.
Andrés Iniesta spoke during one of his last events as a Barcelona player on Thursday evening. One of the questions put to the midfielder was the possibility that Neymar might leave PSG and come back to Barça after this summer's World Cup finals - a situation which Iniesta would find hard to get his head around: “I don’t think there’d be any problems within the dressing room but for me, it would be a bit weird to see him back at Barça", he said. As for Antoine Griezmann, who has been linked with a move to Camp Nou he added: “I know that Griezmann’s one of the best strikers around at the moment but I’ve no idea as to what will happen in the future. As it stands, he is an Atlético player and anything I say about him isn’t going to change that. If he does end up joining Barcelona, he would be a great signing".
Decision time
Iniesta was also asked whether he had finally settlled on where he will be playing football next season and answered: “I’ve almost come to the end of my commitments with Barcelona and it’s true that I have various offers to think about and in the next week, 10 days, I’ll try and decide which one is the best for me”.
