Atlético Madrid were back on the practice pitches on Friday to start preparing for Sunday's meeting with Sevilla at the Pizjuán. Just six outfield players and the three goalkeepers were out in the sunshine in Majadahonda - those who started last night's game against Copenhagen exercised in the gym along with the walking wounded, Lucas and Savic.

Yannick Carrasco took no part in the session - he is still negotiating his departure to China.

Penalty practice

Diego Costa, Griezmann, Thomas, Vrsaljko, Gaitán and Filipe Luis were joined by several youth team players who were drafted in for the session. The workout was concluded with some penalty practice for Diego Costa and Griezmann. The former Chelsea player bagged both of his spot-kicks while Griezmann saw one of his efforts superbly saved by Axel Werner.
