Zidane looks back at Materazzi headbutt incident: "I'm not proud of what I did"

Zinedine Zidane agreed to sit down and reflect on the most infamous incident of his career with French broacaster Telefoot. Zidane headbutted Italy's Marco Materazzi during extra-time in the 2006 World Cup final - an offense for which he was sent off and handed a severe fine by FIFA.

Watching a video of the event, Zidane looks solemn as the images are shown and the French match commentors can be heard: "Oh Zidane, what have you done? What have you done?".

Zizou opened up about the incident for the first time: "I'm not proud of what I did, but it forms part of my career", he explained. "It is part of my life and something which I have to accept".
