Neymar: "Every day I learn something new from Messi"

Neymar faced the media in São Paulo today and one of the questions concerned the belief that he will take the crown of the best player in the world when Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s powers start to wane.

Neymar, uncomfortable with 'world's best player' tag

The Barça forward, who is among the 30 candidates for this year's Ballon d'Or, spoke highly of his club team mate Leo Messi but prefers to shy away from comments about who is the world's No.1 as he told reporters: “I don’t really feel very comfortable talking about the subject and to be honest, I don’t believe it. They are both fantastic players, superstars who have maintained themselves at the top level for the last 10 years. They are both great footballers who I admire a lot and one of them I work alongside every day. For me, Leo is the best player I have ever played with and I am learning a lot from him. All I want is to be a little better every day, but I don’t want to be better than anyone else – just improve myself”.
