Wrath of the Lich King es lo más vendido de PC durante 2008 en Norteamérica
La expansión de World of Warcraft supera a Los Sims 2.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King no tiene rival en Norteamérica. El videojuego multijugador masivo de Blizzard se sitúa en primera posición en la lista de ventas de juegos para PC durante el 2008. Ni siquiera Los Sims 2 en su paquete "http://www.meristation.complaystation-portable/noticias/world-of-warcraft-es-lo-mas-jugado-en-pc-en-ee-uu-durante-2008/1653067" target=_blank>más seguido del momento.
El videojuego Spore de Electronic Arts y Will Wright se sitúa en tercera posición, seguido de Left 4 Dead de Valve y de Los Sims 2: Comparten Piso. Fallout 3 también registra buenas ventas en 2008, al igual que Call of Duty World at War. Ambos títulos se sitúan en quinto y sexto lugar en el ranking de juegos de PC.
Las últimas tres posiciones de este 'top10' norteamericano dentro de las ventas anuales de juegos de PC son para World of Warcraft Battle Chest, Los Sims 2: Mansiones y Jardines y Bejeweled Twist.
