On loan Özbiliz trains with Rayo Vallecano for the first time
The Armenian international trained with his new team mates this evening. He will play on loan with the Madrid based club for the remainder of the season.
Aras Özbiliz is a Rayo Vallecano player and joins the Spanish side on a loan deal from Turkish Super Lig side, Besiktas. The winger arrived in Madrid on Monday and trained with the first team squad in Tuesday’s evening training session at Rayo’s training complex. The Armenian international becomes Paco Jemez’s second reinforcement in the winter transfer window along with defender Crespo.
The Istanbul born Ozbiliz himself announced his arrival at the La Liiga side in declarations that were picked up by Dutch daily, 'De Telegraaf'. "I’m heading straight to Rayo Vallecano so as to get playing time and that way I can come back stronger next summer”. The player has been capped for Armenia 22 times with four goals in his time as an international. The player sealed his move from Spartak Moscow to Besiktas on a three year deal with the Istanbul based club deciding to loan the player to Rayo with immediate effect.
The 25 year old is a natural right winger but can also play on the other flank or as a central midfielder.
