Emery sent to the stands for protesting Vitolo’s red card
The Sevilla coach reacted angrily to Vitolo’s sending off after 61 minutes for a foul on Vietto.
Unai Emery was sent to the dressing room in Sevilla’s 0-0 draw against Atlético Madrid in the Vicente Calderón. The Sevilla coach was visibly riled by Vitolo’s red card, which was shown after the striker fouled Vietto on the edge of his area in the 61st minute.
Emery continued his protests on the touchline by continually shouting: “It’s a fucking disgrace” and was subsequently sent to the stands by referee Iglesias Villanueva.
