One-match ban for Tito; a caution for Paco Jémez
Suspended for the next game for completing a cycle of bookings: Diop, Aythami, Krychowiak, Nacho, Toño, Feddal, Ajayi and Filipe Luis.
Rayo Vallecano player Román Triguero, ‘Tito’ has been served a one-match suspension for his dismissal in Sunday’s game against Real Madrid; he will meet the team’s next game against Atlético on 30 December. Rayo coach Paco Jémez meanwhile was given a caution for making observations about the referee after the game at the Bernabéu.
Raúl Baena, the other Rayo player who was sent off in the same match after receiving two yellow cards has been handed a one-match suspension – as have Luisinho (Deportivo) and Gabi (Atlético de Madrid).
Other players who will not take part in the Week 17 fixtures to be played on 30th and 31st December for completing a cycle of bookings are: Pape Diop (Espanyol), Aythami (Las Palmas), Krychowiak (Sevilla), Nacho (Rayo Vallecano), Toño and Feddal (Levante), Ajayi (Granada) and Filipe Luis (Atlético Madrid).
