Former Barça player, Rafa Márquez returns to Atlas
The Liga MX club announced the acquisition of the 38 year old defender today. Marquez returns to the club where he started his career in 1996.
Rafael Márquez goes home. The former Barcelona and Mexican international signed for Liga MX side, Atlas today. The ‘Foxes’ announced the news via an official communiqué and through their Twitter account.

Marquez moves back to Mexican football after his stint with Sere A side Hellas Verona, currently propping up the Italian league and yet to record a win this season. The Mexican club made no disclosure of the fee that was used in seeing the defender make a Liga MX return.
