WORLD CLUB CUP
Presenting: Errejota, the official ball of the World Club Cup
The Adidas ball that will also be used in the Olympics 2016 was inspired by Rio with a Brazilian colour scheme and flowing contours.
Making its debut in the FIFA Club World Cup in Yokohama, the brand-new Adidas Errejota Ball will be used in all world championships organized by FIFA during the 2016 season, including the Rio 2016 Olympics.
It draws inspiration from Rio de Janeiro and boasts a distinctly Brazilian colour scheme combining white with the green and yellow colors of Brazil's flag, a nod to Brazilian beaches also defines the undulating contours and references the Rio's boardwalk.
The Adidas Errejota Ball offers the same technology as the Adidas Brazuca 2014 World Cup Ball, "featuring a revolutionary six-panels design and a 3D surface, the Adidas Errejota Ball provides grip, contact, stability and aerodynamics on the pitch in any weather conditions", so say its makers anyway.
