Feghouli on shortlist for African Player of the Year 2015
Abdennour, also at Valencia also makes the list of ten players. The remaining players are: Ayew, Karika, Salah, Aubameyang, Sadio Mané Aurier, Brahimi and Yaya Touré.
Tunisian defender, Aymen Abdennour and Algerian, Sofiane Feghouli, both Valencia CF players are on the shortlist of ten players for the African Player of 2015 award as decreed by CAF (African Football Federation).
The short-list does include Manchester City’s, Ivorian, Yaya Toure, the midfielder having won the award for the past four years running.
The winner will be selected by votes from national coach’s and technical directors of all nations that compose CAF, with the award ceremony taking place next year on January 7 in Abuja (Nigeria).
The ten complete finalist list composes: André Ayew (Ghana/Swansea), Aymen Abdennour (Tunisia/Valencia),Mudather Eltaib Ibrahim 'Karika' (Sudan/El Hilal), Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Roma), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon/Borussia Dortmund), Sadio Mané (Senegal/Southampton), Serge Aurier (Ivory Coast/París Saint Germain), Sofiane Feghouli (Algeria/Valencia), Yacine Brahimi (Algeria/Porto) and Yaya Touré (Ivory Coast/Manchester City).
