EURO 2016 | SPAIN - LUXEMBOURG
More of the same tiresome whistling treatment for Piqué
Logroño was no different from León and Oviedo. The public continued to whistle Gerard Piqué every time he touched the ball.
In the end, the public in Logroño was no exception and treated Gerard Piqué to deafening whistles every time he touched the ball during this evening’s EURO 2016 qualifier against Luxembourg. At first, the whistles from the stands were just a low murmur but the noise increased later, whenever the Barça centre-back was on the ball. Piqué later joined the attack and cheers were heard as he took the ball past two Luxembourg players on the edge of the area.
