Spanish players hold minute’s silence for rally victims
The Spanish national side paid tribute to all those killed and injured in the tragic incident on Saturday.
Del Bosque’s Spanish squad trained behind closed doors today at El Molinón, but before the session they paid tribute to the victims of the tragic accident during yesterday’s Rally de A Coruña, with a minute’s silence.
Seven people died, six at the scene and one today in hospital, when a car left the track and crashed into spectators. Several more people were injured, some seriously.
The Spanish Football Federation had recommended that a minute’s silence be held before all official matches held today in Spain.
“Spanish football wants to be at the side of the families of those who died during the Rally de A Coruña”, said the Federation.
