Layhoon Chan: "It’s important for us to return to our best years"
Valencia’s president warned that none of the group games will be easy: "We have the utmost respect for the rivals we’ve been drawn against".
Valencia’s President Layhoon Chan was at today’s Champions League draw in Monaco and gave her thoughts on the draw to BeIN sports. While Valencia’s group might appear more accessible than others, Layhoon urged caution and respect but said she is proud that the club is back in Europe’s premier club tournament.
“There are no easy games at this level. I think we have three difficult rivals, each one of them is in the tournament for their own merits and we have the utmost respect for them. For us, it’s very important that we are able to return to the competition after a two-year absence and also that we are capable of competing at this level. We want Valencia to return our best years”, she said.
