MANCHESTER CITY 1 - 4 REAL MADRID
Cristiano man of the match against Manchester City
Real Madrid’s star was hyperactive during the match, scoring, looking for more and constantly linking up with teammates.
Cristiano Ronaldo was named as man of the match from Real Madrid’s win over Manchester City (1-4) today. The Portuguese star striker, despite having had few days of pre-season preparation, was hyperactive during the game, and clearly in the mood for football.
Cristiano played 64 minutes (Cheryshev came on for him, and scored the fourth, from an Isco pass) and scored a fine goal, Real’s second from a grand Kroos’ pass: Ronaldo controlled and before the City defence could catch up to him had fired off right foot shot that Hart got a hand to, but could only watch helplessly as it spun into his net.
After his goal Ronaldo went tirelessly looking for his second but didn’t find it before he was subbed off.
