Catalunya Radio: Barcelona in talks with Atleti's Arda Turan
Mundo Deportivo reported a few days ago that Arda is Bartomeu’s bombshell ahead of the presidential elections. Chelsea, United and PSG also want the Turkey international.
As revealed by Catalunya Radio today (Tuesday), Barcelona have had advanced negotiations in the past few hours with the Atlético Madrid midfielder Arda Turan after the player himself confirmed that his agent was listening to offers from other clubs as he has decided to leave the Spanish capital side.
Mundo Deportivo stated a few days ago that Arda was Josep María Bartomeu’s bombshell for the forthcoming presidential elections, despite the fact that the Turkey international’s camp have repeated over and over that the player’s preference is José Mourinho’s Chelsea.
If he signs for Barcelona, Arda will not be able to play for the Camp Nou club in an official match until January 2016, when their FIFA-imposed sanction ends.
