Liverpool, Juventus and Inter tracking Chicharito
The former Madrid loan man has a contract with Manchester United until 2016 but Van Gaal does not want him.
While names of strikers linked with moves to Real Madrid continue to circulate, former Madrid man Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández is preparing for his participation in the Gold Cup with Mexico without knowing what his future holds.
The striker has a contract with Manchester United until 2016 but Van Gaal does not want him. The Mexican has three offers on the table. The first is from Premier League club Liverpool, who have already paid €40 million for Firmino. However, United may not want to sell him to a rival.
The other two clubs interested in ‘Chicharito’ are in Italy. Inter, in the process of rejuvenating their squad with lots of new players, will made an effort to sign him if they sell Mauro Icardi. Interestingly, there were reports that Rafa Benítez was interested in Inter’s Argentine striker. The second suitor for the ‘Little Pea’ is Juventus, who have sold Carlos Tévez to Boca Juniors but signed Mario Mandzukic from Atlético. Álvaro Moráta and Fernando Llorente are also at the Turin club. In any case, any offer from Juve will not be a high one.
