Celta Vigo have announced the signing of Danish midfielder Daniel Wass from French side Evian. The player is joining on a five year deal and is the Galician club’s second signing of the summer, after confirming the return of Iago Aspas.
25 year old Wass, who has 13 caps for Denmark and played in the European Championships in 2012, is heading to Spain after four seasons with Evian, who were relegated this season. He joined the French outfit from Benfica on loan in 2011, and made the move permanent a season later.
The versatile midfielder played 133 games in France, scoring 23 goals and setting up another 12.
