BARCELONA 3 - JUVENTUS 1
Enrique: "I don't know if I'll stay, but I'm happy at the moment"
"It was a difficult year and I'm grateful to all the people that showed faith in me," says Barça coach after Champions League win.
Luis Enrique could not contain his glee at winning the Champions League with Barcelona but neither did the coach confirm whether or not he will be at the helm of the club next season. "I'm not sure," the Asturian coach said, while dedicating the win to former sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and his team: "I dedicate it to them, they thought I would do well here."
Champions: "It's a good feeling, we're very happy, there was a lot of tension but we have a unique and amazing group of players."
The best thing about this team? "That they are winners, they're very united, and they still enjoy doing what it is they do. And they make a lot of people very happy."
You look happier than after the Copa del Rey final... "Because this is the 60th game of the season and we've won 50 of them. It's the culmination of an historic season, winning the treble. It was a difficult year and I'm grateful to all the people that showed faith in me: Zubi, and Narcís Julià and Albert Valentín. And also the president. They thought I would do well here and I want to dedicate this to them."
Season: "We never thought we would win the three titles. You try to do your job well and with this group of players it is easier."
Next season... "This club and these players have show they do not get tired of winning."
Is it your challenge to maintain this level next year? "My challenge is to enjoy the moment, enjoy a good summer and having made so many culés happy. The season isn't over yet, there's a night still to go and a victory parade."
Do you know if you're going to stay on? "No, the truth is I don't, but I'm happy at the moment."
