Del Bosque: “Ancelotti has been uplifting for our football”
The Spain coach said nobody had a bad word to say about the Italian, who looks to be leaving Real Madrid.
Spain coach Vicente del Bosque, talking in Pamplona today, said he only had good things to say about Carlo Ancelotti, the Real Madrid coach who looks like he’s on his way out of the club after failing to win any end of season silverware.
Del Bosque went further in his praise of the Italian, saying he had been “uplifting” for Spanish football. “He’s done everything very well and nobody has anything against him” said Del Bosque.
The European Championship and World Cup winner also mentioned the situation of Iker Casillas, with Real Madrid apparently looking to bring in De Gea as a replacement. “It’s a matter for the club” said Del Bosque, adding that “while he’s in form and show’s he’s doing well, I’ll include him in my plans”.
