JUVENTUS - REAL MADRID
Morata scores against Real and doesn’t celebrate
The striker had said previously that he wouldn’t celebrate if he scored against his former team.
Álvaro Morata scored the opening goal in the Champions League semi-final first leg between Juventus and Real Madrid but didn’t celebrate. The ex-Real striker, who came up through the ranks at the Spanish club, had said he would give it his all against his former club, but that he wouldn’t celebrate if he scored.
The goal came after just eight minutes of the tie, when Tévez ran into acres of space in the box and received a good pass before shooting diagonally at goal. Casillas got down to save, but didn’t hold on to the ball and Morata, played onside by Pepe, was there to tap home.
