Czech referee Pavel Kralovec has been appointed to take charge of Atlético’s Champions League last-16 first leg match at Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.

He also refereed the German club in the Europa League in 2012-13 against Benfica, when they lost 2-1, and took charge of Atleti’s match at Lazio in the knockout round of the 2011-12 competition, in which Atleti won 3-1 thanks to a Radamel Falcao brace and a goal from Adrian Lopez.

German Deniz Aytekin will officiate the match between Arsenal and Monaco.
