LA LIGA | LEVANTE 2-1 GRANADA
Levante leave it late to secure big victory over Granada
The Valencia club scored twice late on to come from behind and seal a big three points in a relegation 'six pointer'. Levante finished with ten men and the Andalusians finished with nine.
Levante received a big boost in their battle against relegation as they came from behind to beat fellow strugglers Granada and secure a big three points at the bottom of La Liga.
Granada led until the 88th minute but, having seen two men sent off, they could not hang on to their lead and the hosts scored twice inside the last two minutes.
Youssef El Arabi opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 13 minutes after Víctor Camarasa was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the penalty area.
Most of the talking points arrived in a dramatic final 18 minutes that saw three red cards and two goals.
First Adrían Colunga saw red for Granada and just seven minutes later Levante's Ivan Ramos and Granada goalscorer El Arabi both saw red as the match heated up.
It worked in Levante's favour as Roberto Camarasa pulled the hosts level with two minutes left and David Barral ensured all three points for his side with the winner four minutes into added time.
