Mino Raiola: "Guardiola is a nasty piece of work"
The confrontation between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pep Guardiola has resurfaced thanks to the Sweden international's Italian agent.
The old confrontation between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pep Guardiola has resurfaced thanks to the agent of the Swedish striker Mino Raiola. The controversial FIFA agent was blunt in an interview with ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ when asked about the current Bayern Munich coach. “He is a nasty piece of work as a man, but a great coach. Guardiola was the man who took Ibra to Barcelona and later he treated him very badly,” he added.
In the interview, Raiola also said that: “Inter and Milan should be merged into one club” to compete with the bigger clubs such as Real Madrid or Barcelona.
In addition, the Italian agent offered his thoughts about the forthcoming presidential elections at FIFA, on May 29. He told Dutch newpspaer ‘De Volkskrant’: “I feel terrible when I think that Blatter could be re-elected. Do we continue with a dictator or give way to democracy?”.
