Barça pay a Christmas visit to several Children’s hospitals
Several representatives from FC Barcelona, including President Bartomeu, visited sick children and brought them presents.
Players and directors from FC Barcelona paid visits to a number of hospitals and clinics in the Catalunya region today. The ‘Un somni per un regal’ (A dream for a present) initiative is run every year by the club’s Foundation. Players brought some joy to poorly children who have spent the festive period receiving treatment in hospital, and brought presents with them.
Rakitic, Neymar, Mascherano and Munir were at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital; Ter Stegen, Suárez, Mathieu and Piqué visited the Vall d’Hebron Hospital while Dani Alves, Claudio Bravo, Douglas and Luis Enrique paid children at the Sant Pau Hospital a surprise visit.
Other hospital which received a visit from Barça players included: Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, Barcelona General Hospital, Nens de Barcelona Hospital and the Casa Ronald McDonald.
