Real Madrid trained at UCLA on Sunday morning, with 11 outfield players (Ramos, Coentrao, De Tomás, Derik, Sobrino, Medrán, Marcos Llorente, Modric, Arbeloa, Xabi and Mascarell) and the four goalkeepers (Casillas, Diego López, Jesús and Pacheco) taking part.
Cristiano Ronaldo took to the training pitch 40 minutes after his Real team-mates. The Portugal star did specific work in the gym, before undergoing a session in which he was put through his paces away from the group.
The 29-year-old arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday morning and will now undergo a specific plan designed to bring him up to speed with the rest of the squad.
Of Carlo Ancelotti’s starters against Inter Milan, Bale, Carvajal, Pepe, Nacho, Diego Llorente, Illarra, Isco and Lucas remained in the gym. Only Medrán trained at the same intensity as those not in the line-up against the Nerazzurri.
