Salvo: "I don't know how a Slovenian could be ref"
Valencia's president pulled few punches in his post-match comments
Amadeo Salvo was not happy following Valencia's defeat to Sevilla. The referee allowed an offisde goal from Mbia to stand, and showed a yellow card to Alcácer when the forward didn't commit an offence.
On Damir Skomina, he said: "We are outraged. I don't understand how Uefa can appoint a Slovenian referee to officiate in the semi of this tournament. This penalises a Europa League semifinal with a refereeing team from a country like slovenia, where they don't have games like these in their football".
Alcácer's yellow, resulting in a ban: "We will appeal, although Uefa may be powerless to rectify this deplorable action"
Comeback in Valencia?: "With how the Mestalla can be, we can come back and get to Turin".
