Di María: "I'd prefer not to play against Málaga"
The Argentine believes his style of play puts him at risk of picking up a yellow card in La Rosaleda, which would see him miss El Clásico.
Ángel Di María openly admitted that he would prefer not to play against Málaga this coming week in order to be available for El Clásico. The Argentine currently has four yellow cards to his name and believes that his style of play could see him pick up a fifth yellow in La Rosaleda, which would result in him missing the clash against Barcelona.
“I don’t know, it’s difficult to choose, but I would prefer not to play. I always give it everything and I prefer not to risk it.”
The fourth yellow: “The handball wasn’t on purpose, those are decisions the referees make. If I have to play in Málaga I’ll be a bit inhibited.”
The team: “We’ve got fuel in the tank, it’s full right now and working really well. After going top things have gone better. I hope we can win the treble.”
The right path: “Things are going better, and we have to continue that way for the Clásico.”
Navarro’s red card: “It’s was a strong challenge, I don’t know if it was a red card."
