Piqué trains normally and is included in the squad to face Madrid
The centre-back was able to carry out a routine training session after a hamstring injury, with Tata Martino claiming he was 'focused' and 'fit to play'.
Gerard Piqué was included in Barcelona’s 20-player squad sheet, drawn up by Tata Martino, for Saturday’s game against Real Madrid. Despite picking up a hamstring injury in the Champions League tie against Milan, the central defender joined the rest of his team-mates in today’s training session and will be fit to face Los Blancos at the Camp Nou. In a press conference, Barcelona coach Tata Martino said Piqué was 'focused' and declared him 'fit to play'.
Barcelona’s last training session before the Clásico included the whole squad, with the exception of both Jonathan dos Santos, who is suffering from a knee injury picked up on Wednesday and is set to be out for the next six months, and Jordi Alba, who is still recovering from a hamstring injury.
Besides the two players mentioned above, the Argentinian trainer also left Afellay, Cuenca and Oier out of the Clásico squad.
