REAL MADRID | ISCO
City and Madrid will try to seal Isco transfer this weekend
Los Blancos are in advanced negotiations with the player but the Daily Mail claims City have permission to speak to himfrom Málaga.
The race for Isco’s signature has entered the final stretch.
The player has gone on holiday to Ibiza while the 'Daily Mail' claims that Mancehster City will try to secure his transfer, for 25 million euros, in the next 48 hours. Madrid, however, hope to close the deal today in a new meeting between both parties.
According to the Daily Mail, Málaga have given permission to City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain to speak with the player and convince him that Manchester would be his ideal destination, as he will get the opportunity work under Manuel Pellegrini again, who knows him well, and will be assured of a berth in every starting line-up with the Premier League side, which would not be the case at Madrid, says the newspaper, due to the presence of Özil, Modric and Kaká, who all play in Isco’s attacking midfield role.
Nonetheless, Madrid believe they are in the driving seat in the operation.
