REAL MADRID | GENERAL ASSEMBLY | FLORENTINO PÉREZ
On Kaká: "Financially he's worked out quite well"
"We didn't say we wanted to sell Kaká. He's an active memebr of the squad. It's his fourth year and he has two left", says Real Madrid's president to the General Assembly.
Real Madrid's president defended the signing of Kaká in front of club members today, and denied that the club will tried to sell him this summer. Despite the fact his performances have fallen far short of expectations, Florentino Pérez affirmed: "Kaká has given us a lot of money. When we made such a big investment we knew it was going to bring us revenue. From a financial point of view he's worked out quite well."
In front of the club's Assembly of delegates, Florentino answered a question from a member about the plan to sell the Brazilian, and added: "We didn't say we wanted to sell Kaká; we didn't try to sell him. He's an active member of the squad who has now paid for himself. It's his fourth year and he has two more."
