Sami Khedira has signed a pre-contract deal with Bayern Munich. The news was revealed on Spanish the radio show El Larguero late last night. Pep Guardiola has given his approval to the acquisition of the German international with the Bavarian club willing to pay the player a substantial salary.
One of the areas provoking debate within Real Madrid has been the contract renewal of German international, Sami Khedira. He will be out of contract in June 2015. Last year with the player out with a long term cruciate ligament injury, Real Madrid, as a show of confidence offered him a new deal, a sign of their confidence in the midfielder.
The reasons for Madrid’s reluctance to enter into negotiations, according to the broadcaster are the players refusal to pursue a renewal last year combined with the players own loss of importance in the Real Madrid dressing room. Khedira was a regular in the Real Madrid starting eleven under José Mourinho but has seen how the likes of Kroos, Modric, James and Isco have become firm fixtures in Carlo Ancoletti’s midfield,
With Modric expected to be out of action for up to four months the German player will get another chance to prove his worth at the club. However, El Largero doesn’t feel that this will influence the decision at the club.
