Atlético Madrid's final training session before they go to Lisbon ended on a good note. The two injured players, Diego Costa and Arda Turan, trained with the group. The session started at 18:00 and there were no absentees.
It was a big surprise to see both train with the rest of the group. Good news for the Rojiblancos, who might yet have both of them available for Saturday's final.
Costa travelled to Belgrade on Wednesday to visit the 'horse placenta doctor', Dr. Kovacevic. She's famous for helping injured sports stars recover ahead of schedule, and the forward might yet make the game against Real Madrid.
All week Simeone has practiced various systems of play as he prepares to face Madrid. Tomorrow Atlético will train at the stadium in Lisbon, and only then will it be known if Arda and Costa are in the Argentine's plans for the starting XI.
