The cameras of Spanish television channel Cuatro were there first, followed by the microphones of radio station Cadena SER and a photographer from Barcelona-based newspaper Sport.
Each caught the meeting, which was held on Monday from 12:15 CET to 15:30, between Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique and Andoni Zubizarreta, Barça's sporting director accompanied by Blaugrana aides Narçís Julià (professional football coordinator) and Albert Valentín (technical secretary).
Luis Enrique is the overwhelming candidate to occupy the Barça dugout next season and, curiously, is in charge of the team that faces Real Madrid on Sunday - with the opportunity to hand the league title on a plate to the Catalan outfit.
In view of the individuals involved, the obvious conclusion is that the aim of the meeting was to exchange ideas with a view to planning the Barça squad for the coming campaign. Coming in the week that Celta take on Madrid, however, it is lent an air of conspiracy difficult to escape.
