Goalkeeper Pepe Reina, on loan at Napoli from Premier League side Liverpool, has admitted that he would be open to a move to Barcelona to replace current number one Víctor Valdés, who is set to leave the Camp Nou at the end of the season.
Reports have linked Reina, who came through the youth set-up at Barça, with a summer move back to the Catalan club.
He told Catalunya Ràdio: “It would be great to return to Barcelona. I am very happy that my name's being mentioned, but my goal right now is to put in a good season with Napoli.”
He added: "In the summer we’ll see. I imagine that they’ll have spoken to a lot of goalkeepers and will have shortlisted a number of them. We will see what happens next year and we’ll see what happens with Víctor Valdés."
