Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Málaga player Francisco Alarcón, Isco. The deal was announced on the club’s official website. Isco has been handed a five-year contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.
According to the statement issued by ‘Los Blancos’, the 21-year-old will undergo a medical on Wednesday 3 July, before being officially unveiled as a Madrid player. His transfer fee has not been disclosed, but could be close to 30 million euros. The two clubs reached an agreement over the player’s transfer last week, but Real Madrid’s preference was to delay confirmation of the deal until after the unveiling of new coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Isco is the second signing made by Real Madrid after the capture of Madrid youth product Dani Carvajal for 6.5 million euros from Bayer Leverkusen.
