It has been confirmed that Barcelona's big European comeback attempt will be refereed by Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai. The Catalan side will attempt to claw back a 2-0 deficit suffered at the hands of AC Milan in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 tie in the San Siro.
It is the second time Kassai will referee a Barcelona game; the first was the 2011 Champions League final against Manchester United, when the 'azulgranas' picked up their fourth trophy in Europe's top competition.
The name Kassai also brings back fond memories for the 'Rossoneri' given that he was in charge of a comfortable 4-0 victor over Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 game last season.
Widely recognised as one of the best referees in the world, he is also no stranger to another team from the Spanish league - he was also in charge of this season's third game in Group D between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.
