Real Madrid's number two, Aitor Karanka, once again talked about Mourinho's future at the club in a press conference, insisting that: "The boss's mind is focused on this club, he's not thinking about anything other than Real Madrid and the next game. I'm not interested in talking to him about his future," he said.
Mourinho's future: "What he transmits about the next game. I'm not interested in asking him what he's going to do. He's mind is only focused on Real Madrid and the next game."
Is the league a possibility?: "The league is practically impossible and we have to fight for second place. We have to keep picking up points because giving other competitions priority over the league could be dangerous."
Changes: "We put a team out to win every game. The team that plays tomorrow will besent out to win. It's also true that Varane, Ramos and Coentrao have played every game and deserve a rest, and there are others that deserve to play."
The game against Celta: "It's a tricky game and even more so after the run of games we've just had, which have demanded a great physical and mental effort. We have to keep on doing what we've been doing."
Diego López and Casillas: "We've known Diego a long time and his form is no surprise. He came to help out and he's played in very important games. We want Iker to be fit as soon as possible and in the best shape possible so that in the end the trainer plays the best one. We've shown here over the last two and a half years that you don't just play because of status, but because of merit."
The Nani red card compared with the Pepe one: "I never said that football fades into the background. Those that said the Pepe red card was fair now doubt the Nani one."
Marcelo's fitness: "He's a young player that has suffered a long and serious injury. He's found it difficult and has needed encouragement, but he's training better all the time. He's an important player for the end of this season."
Barça: "As Mascherano recently said, not long ago it was like Disney and now it's the opposite. We're just continuing with our own game. When things are positive you want it to continue as long as possible."
Atmosphere and attitude in the team: "We work to get the best out of the players. When things are not going well there is always talk of a bad atmosphere, and now we're winning it's all a bed of roses. We isolate ourselved from it all and get on with it."
Criticism: "The boss works at getting good performances and is not waiting for either criticism or praise. Mou has shown that he is strong and has the ability to block it all out."
Pressure of the Copa del Rey final being played in the Bernabéu: "I lost the one in 2002. In three seasons it's the second final. Playing in Madrid was the best thing for all concerned."
Pepe: "He was, is and will be a very important player. He's come back from injury and has helped Varane a lot. He's playing in different positions and has a great attitude; he's very important to this team."
