Raphael Varane will start for Real Madrid against Barcelona tonight at the Camp Nou in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
Although the club have yet to confirm it, the French defender, who scored Madrid's equaliser in the first leg at the Bernabéu, will play at centre-back, in place of either Sergio Ramos or Pepe.
Varane produced an extraordinary performance in the first leg but then got injured, preventing him from joining the France squad for their friendly with Germany and making his debut for his country.
Two weeks ago, he played at centre-back against Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabéu - which finished 2-0 to 'Los Blancos' - partnering Pepe at centre-back, while Ramos moved to right-back, due to Álvaro Arbeloa being suspended.
Varane has been on the losing side just three times in his 35 games for Madrid - all of which he has started, bar one - and Madrid have kept clean sheets in 12 of those games.
The 19-year-old has played 20 matches this season for Madrid, losing only to Borussia Dortmund, Celta Vigo and Granada.
