Real Madrid's striker Karim Benzema continued training alone in the gym today while his teammates trained on the turf of the Valdebebas sports grounds, ahead of Saturday's game in Galicia against Deportivo.
As happened on Wednesday the French hitman was confined to the gym, while Xabi Alonso followed a specific training plan as he comes back from a groin strain. Iker Casillas was also under special instructions as he recovers from the broken hand he suffered in the Copa.
Jose Mourinho was in charge of training under the Castilian rain on a dull day in the Spanish capital, and he called up Real Madrid 'C' players Jorge Franco Burgui and Sergio Aguza.
Keepers Diego López, Antonio Adán and Jesús Fernández worked under the instruction of goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro. The rest of the players trained together.
Real Madrid play Deportivo in the Riazor on Saturday at 8pm.
