Barcelona defender Dani Alves has spoken of his attempts to entice fellow Brazilian Neymar to the Camp Nou, insisting that the young Santos striker would be joining "the best club in the world".
Speaking in an interview with FIFA.com, Alves explained: "I've been begging him to come to Barcelona for a long time, ever since the rumours of a move to Europe started. As the slogan says, this is more than a club: they look after you, they spoil you, they always treat you and your family very well."
And the Brazil international hopes that Neymar can one day share the honour of playing for Barça. "Everyone who is a part of Barcelona today feels privileged. It's got values that virtually no other club has, and that's what makes it unique. There's no doubt that it's the best club in the world," he insisted.
