After watching the La Liga leaders' 2-1 victory at Granada, Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta expressed his satisfaction with the result, commenting: "It's not easy to win here. Granada are an intense team who are very quick on the break. We played well in the first half but we couldn't score. In the second half we were more clinical."
Touching on the club's demanding fixture list, he added: "Teams used to playing in a number of competitions are able to concentrate in every game. We know how important the league and the Champions League both are."
Asked about the controversial incidents in the game, Zubizarreta said only, "I haven't seen the replays yet. The referee makes his decision and that's final." He also insisted that he did not know if Xavi and David Villa would be available for the European clash against Milan: "That's up to the medical staff, but we hope so."
The former Spain international also gave an update on the health of Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova, currently undergoing treatment in New York. "It has been a very quick trip. He's fine; he's recovering and he's in high spirits. He is grateful for all the support people are giving him. He has put weight back on and is watching football every day."
