Manchester United defender Patrick Evra has spoken about former team mate Cristiano Ronaldo who he will be up against in next week's Champions League semi-final. Speaking to the club's official magazine, 'Inside United', the Frenchman said that the reunion is bound to be an emotional one for Cristiano and recommended that it is better not to wind him up in the days leading up to the game as it will only bring out his best.
"It will be emotional for Ronny because he loves Manchester United. I hope the emotion will get to him. That will be perfect for us. We don't have to wind him up before this game because when he is angry he is at his best", Evra claimed.
"So let's just be nice. We can say "Welcome home, Ronny. It's so nice to have you back, we love you, you are the best player! We can kill him with love", he continued.
Evra is sure that CR7 will be given a warm welcome by the fans on his first game back at Old Trafford. "We have already been texting each other. I hope he will get a great ovation because what he did for United was unbelievable. I miss him, too".
