The Spanish Football Federation's Disciplinary Board have announced the list of suspensions following the quarter-final ties of the Copa del Rey. Real Madrid now know that they will not be able to count on Fabio Coentrao or Ángel Di María for the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final clash with Barcelona (to take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday at 21:00 CET). Once they have served their one-match suspension, both players will be available for the return leg at Camp Nou.
Coentrao and Di María were both dismissed in Wednesday's quarter-final return leg against Valencia at Mestalla. Elsewhere, physical trainer Rui Faria was issued a two-match suspension for dissent. Match official Pérez Lasa explained in his notes: "When we were in the tunnel, Real Madrid's physical trainer Rui Filipe da Cunha Faria appeared at the dressing room door, he approached us and started shouting at us, 'You have no shame' as well as other insults which I could not understand".
