José Mourinho spent just 45 minutes coaching Real Madrid during their training session at Valdebebas on Saturday.
The Portuguese began the session at 11:00 and then left at 11:45. The club stated that he "arrived at 8:00 to prepare the match video, the tactical discussion, the training session and the squad list. He took a tactical training session and then at 11:45 he left to go and watch his son play football.
"He returned at 14:35 and has been at the training ground since then with his assistants to prepare for the match (against Valencia at the Mestalla on Sunday night) and plan next week's training sessions."
Less than two weeks ago Mourinho was spotted watching his son play football on the night of the FIFA Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich, which he had been expected to attend, but instead stayed in Madrid, citing work commitments as his reason for missing the event.
