Riccardo Calleri, the agent of Colombian footballers Camilo Zúñiga and Juan Fernando Quintero, has declared that Barcelona are interested in signing both players, from Napoli and Pescara respectively.
Calleri told Italian radio station 'Radio Cri': "Barcelona are not just following Zúñiga, but Quintero as well" after being asked about the interest in the pair from the Premier League, above all from Arsenal.
"Top level teams in England and Spain are interested in Zúñiga, but that's to be expected because many teams are interested in him due to his versatility and because he can play at the back or further up the pitch, he would fit in very well at a big club," added Calleri.
The 27-year-old Zúñiga is a regular fixture in Walter Mazzarri's starting line-up at Napoli, where he usually plays in central midfield or on the right wing. He can also play on the left hand side of midfield or as a full back.
The 19-year-old Quintero, meanwhile, is an attacking midfielder who has been one of the revelations of the season in Serie A for Pescara, where he is on-loan from Colombian side Atlético Nacional. He is currently competing in the under-20 South American championships with Colombia.
